Ready for action

The knitted mouse collection are my favourites but not so much Benedict. Occasionally I see him tossing this one around by the tail, or it suddenly appears somewhere so I know he's had a play with it. 

His favourites are the smaller life size mice from China, with a hard shell covered in rabbit fur, a suede tail and something inside that makes a pleasing rattle/swish sound when you shake it. 

My human sensibilities prefer the cute hand knitted ones :-)

Last night's long and solid sleep dispelled yesterday's shattered state.
