I'm in love!

Dear Diary,

I finally was able to get a good photograph of Bunnikins!  I can’t tell if it is male or female so a generic name was needed and, of course, I had to name him!  He is so adorable that I can barely stand it.  I am definitely smitten by that sweet face.  I do hope he stays around.  I tried putting out some carrot sticks but Bunnikins prefers nibbling the grass.

I have tried all summer to photograph a Hummingbird at the trumpet vine but I have had no luck.  This is the best I could manage (extra) and the flowers on the vine are nearly gone.  There is always next year I guess.  The Hummers will be migrating very soon and Bunnikins will be looking for a winter burrow.  I hope he chooses someplace close to me!
