Diagnosis

Dear oh dear!

In the process of trying to get the fuel leak sorted urgently, lots of other things have come to light... all on the under chassis of this car which has done so well. Long story short, we'd noticed a noise driving home yesterday, then on the way to the garage this morning, then as G drove to drop me to work... but nothing compared to what she had on her drive to school and back.

Went straight back to the garage after work, and a mechanic did a test drive and identified a number of things. Argh. Just have to hope they have the parts in stock now.

PS. And of course, the car didn't make any of the noises it was making earlier during the test drive.
