Marjorie's ramblings

He never missed one!

Today is Mum's birthday and we spent it at home, fielding the occasional phone call, visit and ecard.

Dick and Angus came to cut the lawns.  You will see from the photograph that we have a lot of lawn. What you cannot see are two more lawns at the front of our house. Dick loves to make the lawns look good and is never satisfied.

Angus is a very boisterous black labrador who came into Dick's care a few weeks ago. Like the majority of his breed, his main orientation is towards food, so he will sit, stay and then catch biscuits to perfection. The rest of his behaviour is less adaptive - much too excitable for a large dog, but he's lovely.

My extra is one of him waiting for the biscuit to be thrown with Dick in the background. Try as I might I did not manage to separate them in the image.

I've been to the first meeting of the season of the new Tynedale Photographic Group. Carol Palmer showed about 150 of her prints. She produces wonderful work so it was very inspiring.
