The hills are alive....

.....with the sound of thirty Haltwhistle walkers squelching their way through a five mile walk around St Mary's Loch! We were en route to Peebles where seven more joined us.

St Mary's Loch has very romantic connotations for John and Jennifer who honeymooned here. John led today's walk and did well to steer us round in adverse conditions.

Our hotel in Peebles is more than we had hoped for the price. The food for tonight's meal was superb and beautifully presented.
