A view from Jeanneb

Through the gap

in the trees you can see Haworth.

Lots of lovely views on this morning's walk with warm sunshine and a pleasant breeze. You can see another one in Wendles56's blip. It has clouded up a bit since so I think we had the best part of the day.

Starting at Oxenhope station we climbed to the edge of Brow Moor and walked along towards Haworth. Still a bit of heather around and some gorse re flowering as well as some colourful rose hips and Hawthorn berries.
Walking down the brow into Haworth we then took the Railway Children walk back along side the track and river (Worth) to Oxenhope. No trains to see today as they have gone to bed till half term (except at weekends) but in good company we had a most enjoyable time.

As usual on a Monday we had refreshments, this time at the George in Cullingworth where we sat outside and I enjoyed a bowl of cheesy chips!

Great walk thank you Corinthian Column for leading us.
