I WONDER IF YOU CAN GUESS?

I seem to be doing a lot of collages lately and today is no exception.  I got up at about 6.30 am, took a couple of photographs from our bedroom window, as it was quite misty, and the sky looked good with a beautiful sunrise, but then I went back to bed and didn’t get up until quite late.

Mr. HCB had an appointment to see his lovely audiologist, Beth, because he decided that he wanted to have control of when he needed more decibels in his ears and until now, this has been set automatically by Beth.  She kindly reset the hearing aids and he can now go up or down according to the noise around him by just moving the switch slightly, so the next couple of weeks will be interesting.  He is getting on very well with the hearing aids and personally, I think he is a model patient, but then I am rather biased but I am pleased to say that his selective hearing appears to have diminished!

The top two photographs are Beth making sure that the hearing aids are positioned correctly and various hearing aids at the side of her computer.

On to our next appointment, which was the other side of town, and needed us to negotiate a new roundabout - yes, Swindon is famous for its roundabouts - and this one has been a long time being sorted out, but we got through quite quickly and met our next lady, Jenny, in the bottom left photograph.  I wonder if anyone can guess what the last photograph will be?

All will be revealed tomorrow, so if you want to know, then you will have to look at my Blip then.

Back home and we are sitting in the garden and have just had homemade bread, homegrown tomatoes and cucumbers and a hunk of cheese - following by some fruit - so now to read our books all afternoon, sitting in the shade because it’s far too hot to sit in the sun!

Retirement is wonderful.
     It's doing nothing
          without worrying
               about getting caught at it.
