Flower Friday - Last Poppy Standing

Out of no-where, a poppy emerges at the edge of the flower bed. All the other poppies came and went, back in June, but this one missed the bus and had to walk... And how pleased the hover flies were to see her!

I'm sticking an extra in, albeit taken last weekend, because I think the flower will have come and gone by next Friday. She's opening now, but not quite ready for her close-up...
