The Miracle

Here we are witnessing an event seldom seen by mere mortals....the birth of a new common round bale (Wheaticus Strawbalii). This event normally occurs when there is no one around to see it. The new infant is carefully rolled onto the ground behind the mother who then gracefully moves away leaving the new born to fend for itself whilst she moves on to spawn more infants.

Some infants do not survive for long, they may roll away down the hill and crash into a ditch or they may simply explode on impact with ground and are left to rot.

The surviving young may be left alone for a day or two, or indeed up to several weeks, when they are all herded up and led to a place of safety call a barn.

Nature at its most bizarre....

Finally, I would like to thank all you lovely blippers for the comments, hearts and stars for my (silly) 1000th blip yesterday. We managed to get to number 4 on page 1 of the popular pages. Thank you so much.
