Jammies & Gin...

Backblip

David was up and off by 4am.  I never heard a thing.  Got a text at 11.30am to say he and the rest of the gang had landed at Faro Airport and it was sunny and very warm.  Wish I could have said the same for here.

Agnes arrived mid afternoon with a homemade cakes - fruitcake and carrot cake, followed by Elenaor and Gail.  Coffee, cake and a catch up before I gave Alan his dinner then we headed out to have our dinner at a local restaurant.

We had a brilliant time.  Lots of laughs and good food.  

Back by 10 when we decided the best way forward was getting jammies on  and pouring the gin (well for Gail and I.  Ele and Agnes went for Southern Comfort instead) and there after, all cozied in, we managed to chat away till the wee small hours.

(Alan had a great night in with Natasha, indulging his love of Jennifer Aniston by watching an episode or 4 of Friends :-))
