An ordinary life....

In the middle of the night...

I go walking in my dreams :-)

I seem to have developed a habit of waking up at 4.25am, going to the loo, then being wide awake for two hours and just managing to nod off again half an hour before my alarm goes off.  And when it does, it's a real struggle to get up.  Very annoying.

On the plus side, today's blip was taken at 6.08am and it felt good to know my blip was in the bag.  Every cloud and all that :-)

It's been revolving doors in this house today with visits from two guys to fix a problem with Alan's bed, an architect to measure up for a through-floor lift, a Scottish Gas man to fit our new gas meter, two heating engineers to link our boilers up to the new meter, three support workers to see Alan, a delivery driver and the Tesco man.

David was in bed just before 10pm as he's meeting the rest of the golf gang at Edinburgh airport at 5.15am.  Unfortunately I got a text from Agnes just as David was going to bed, saying she was taking Adrian to A&E as he'd become very breathless.  Heard from her a short while ago and he's been diagnosed with a severe chest infection and has been told he's not allowed to travel, so he won't be able to go on the golfing weekend to Portugal.  What a shame.  He is so disappointed and the rest of the guys will be too.

On the bright side, at least it's not something more serious.
