Waratah Week 3

Well, here it is in almost all its glory.  This is the third week in a row that I have posted an image of the waratah that is almost in full bloom outside our living area at Wombat Hollow.  This week it decided it would tease us and just show a little of its central show stopper.  I had to take this very early this morning as we were heading to Sydney for the day but I think the light was just perfect.

Waratah's are without a doubt one of the most spectacular of all of the Australian Wild Flowers.  If you're ever planning to visit Australia, you must make sure you're in the Blue Mountains in the last two weeks of October.  You will be able to feast your eyes on these wonderful flowers.
