Treasures of spring.....

Little heads nodding gently, singles and doubles, all one colour or simply two-toned with different kinds of skirts - it wouldn't be spring without Granny Bonnet's.

Two years ago I swore I wasn't going to have these wee treasures in the new garden self seeding everywhere, but they took matters into their own hands and I now have five plants, all different. I missed them last year with just a couple of flowers, they knew what to do.

Lots of rain yesterday, last night and into this morning, great for our farmers and the garden is looking pretty good to.
