Continuing the autumn theme

Each year Susan creates a display for the house from autumny type things from the garden. This one has pyracantha berries, crab apples and various leaves including some from the Virginia Creeper. Always looks nice.

A dull, cloudy old day after such a brilliant day yesterday. Weather must know it is November and so it had better behave appropriately. We did go out for a walk but not until after it was dark and the drizzle had largely stopped.

Other than that it was 3 hours at school doing some monitoring and writing a report for the Governing Body meeting coming up at the end of the month. The afternoon was spent chasing up people and ticking things off the list. Finally, thanks to much persistence, we have a schedule of works for repairs and redecoration of Doreen's lounge, hall and landing. Everything is coming together starting 25th November, over 4 months after the original leak in July!
