Blue Tit

Before driving home I had a walk by the River Ver in St Albans as it was such a lovely morning.

There were lots of birds around including the blue tit and little egret (extra photo). I also had several sightings of a kingfisher and saw a green woodpecker flying past.

A terrible journey home with long delays on the M1 and M6. I'm so glad that the traffic is so much lighter round here!
