Anyone For a Picnic?

It snowed all day but the temperature was just above zero so it was quite wet snow . By the time we went for a walk around the lake this afternoon before dropping into a friend's for coffee it was back to below freezing, windy and not very pleasant. We didn't linger very long and only a few photos were taken. This normally pretty spot was not looking very inviting, either. We were surprised to see a fisherman turn up and throw a rod in the water. Not sure how successful he was as we didn't hang around to see. Maybe the fish were keen to get out of the icy water.
