Snowberries

We just about managed a walk on the Common in daylight when I got back from work. Lots of snowberries there at present. Apparently, although they're poisonous to humans, they provide winter food for birds and they attract pheasants and grouse among others.

Back home for a bite to eat before heading for Spittal to see Mochara. A fabulous concert by two very talented musicians - Catherine Ashcroft on Irish pipes and Morris Dickson, vocals and guitar - and it was good to see Steve and Sheena and several other friends there too.
