Tiny Tuesday - Mystery Object

After a bit of searching around on the Internet I found a solution to my  SLR camera problem. The official Canon 'fix' of taking the battery out and pushing it but back in did not work but on a Canon user forum it suggested that turning the mode dial to one of the custom functions and back again would resolve it and hey presto it worked. Still have no idea what caused the problem in the first place.

Now our alarm system is playing up - the siren just seems to go off randomly - whether it is set or not - and won't turn off! Came home to find our neighbour inside trying to enter the code to stop it - all to no avail! Have arranged for a company to come and look at it...I suspect it will be a new system -  the neighbour's system failed last year and was replaced - both houses were built at the same time!

Another day of housework, dog walking, supermarket shopping and cooking tea left little time for a blip. However I did manage this macro shot for the tiny Tuesday mystery object challenge.

Thanks to Ninniex for hosting TinyTuesday

EDIT:: it has been guessed by jankerman (scarily even down to the product) - so I have added the 'normal' shot in as en extra. The nozzle / cap from a tube of adhesive. Could have been a number of different products..
