Blipmeet II

Today we drove the short way up to North Lancashire and met up with Lynnfot for the first time in real life (though HarlingDarling and Lynnfot have been following each other on Blip for ages).
As Mishkid wrote a few days ago; "Funny how when blippers meet you already know so much more about them than a lot of people you've met in real life!" It feels like we got on really well together after our day of walking, eating and socialising.
We walked up onto Helsington Barrows with lovely views over Morecambe Bay on the way up. As you can see here if sea-levels rise Morecambe Bay will be considerably larger, indeed much of this land has been reclaimed from the Bay over the centuries.
After the walk we had a delicious pub lunch and then back to Lynnfot's for coffee and Christmas cake, and to meet G and G. We could have sat there talking for much longer but we had to get back down the M6 before the rush-hour so we left just as darkness was falling.
For other views on these happenings you can check out both HarlingDarling's version of events, and Lynnfot's.
Many thanks Lynnfot, for a lovely day.
