Golden glow

Serendipity led this fleece to be thrown on the rack where the sun was streaming through the ceiling. It made it look golden, and lit up the faces of those who were enthralled by it.

Something as mundane as feeding baby lambs, watching a dog round up some sheep and witnessing a sheep being shorn in front of their very eyes sent the students from Japan into gasps of awe. It gave me a different view of something which I generally wouldn't wonder at.

The sun shone and the wee farm looked amazingly quaint and Kiwi. It was pretty much perfect for our visit.

Colin's weather-worn hands on this fleece looked like they could tell a tale or two, and I couldn't resist taking a shot.

Then a walk with JL, Rae and the furkids topped of a lovely day.

It's half seven and I'm ready for bed! Must be all that fresh air. Bring it on.

Night all.
