Twas The Night Before Christmas

TT was up and out to the supermarket super early.  I on the other hand had a lie in and then had a very lazy morning, all the time knowing I had a few chores to do.

We went out for a river walk in the afternoon, delivering a few Christmas cards en route. We ended up in the supermarket, as although TT had shopped till he dropped this morning, he hadn’t made provision for tonight’s tea.  I thought there would be bargains to be had in the supermarket, but alas it was open until  7pm, and we were only there around 3.30-ish.

Once home, BB put a movie on, TT cooked tea and I thought about the wrapping still to be done.

We had one very excited boy who couldn’t sleep and I have still have wrapping to do.

Hope Santa is good to you all.

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all thro' the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there;
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar plums danced in their heads
