A time for everything

Morning exercise

Wednesday
Roger's other sister, Pam and husband Mike joined us all for lunch yesterday, which pleased Bernard and Edna, to have the three siblings altogether for a while. Unfortunately, I never got round to taking a picture to record the day. Then, in the evening, we headed down to my sister's in the Gloucester area.
This morning, after breakfast, we all went for a walk on the Malverns. It had been a cold frosty start, and skies were clear most of the day, though from the top of the Malverns you could see mist hanging over the valley. There were a lot of people out walking off their Christmas excess - in fact the first car park we tried was full, and we took one of the last spots in the seocond park! We followed one of the lower tracks for quite a way, then Janet felt she had probably done enough, so she turned back with Wispa, while we climbed up the next little peak, then returned following the upper path going to the top of the peak, from which my blip was taken. After lunch, Roger, Laura and I went walking again, this time more locally, making the most of the sunshine, knowing that the weather was soon going to deteriorate.
