Last entertaining

of the season.

Another full on day but a very different one to yesterday.
As well as preparing for visitors I had to fit in an emergency dental appt. this morning. New crown on the way in February!

We planned a walk so I thought that would take care of blip but it was damp and windy and our friend had a strained muscle so we gave it a miss. A pleasant afternoon catching up with each other and then a meal and suddenly it was 10.00pm and no blip.

Bluebell doesn't like to be left out on these occasions and usually manages to make a nuisance of herself to get attention, so here she is on the sideboard, where she shouldn't be, as my emergency  blip. She doesn't often star so maybe it's her turn.

A few days of Christmas left but time to get back to normal. I will start to dismantle things over the next few days but never take it all down until 12th night.

Thank you for all your hearts and stars for yesterday's blip. The scenery was of course the star.
