Self Portrait.

A friend of mine posted a portrait by one, David Rutter – a new name to me, and asked how it was created. Much of the discussion centred on the difficulties of focusing in low light levels but, the picture can be taken in normal lighting. As it turned out, it was very simple to reproduce the lighting and then adjust the exposure and contrast after the event. Much to my surprise, Mrs TD said she rather liked the picture and then asked who it was and when I took it.
 
I must admit to being prejudiced, but I do rather like it myself. All I need now, is to find a suitable model who doesn’t risk cracking the camera lens.
