John with Ella

I didn't call this a selfie, because Ella's mother Aude took it (with Ella's father Thierry looking on), in our dining room in Paris 13e.  I'm posting it in part because I practically never appear in my own journal. This was the first time we'd seen the family since our wonderful visit with them at Aude's mother's house on Cap Ferret (southeast of Bordeaux) last September; for our group back then, see this blip and click on the extra photo.  It was great fun to see them again--Ella's even bigger at two years and three months :) This was my first blip of the family, two years ago.
