Sells Green (Friday 20th January 2017)

I did manage to escape into the great outdoors yesterday afternoon and it was a rather glorious day. I needed to do a big shop at Melksham Waitrose and scored my first free cappuccino of the year. On the way I stopped at Spout Lane so I could walk down to the towpath at Sells Green. I was greeted by a friendly dog from the narrowboat moored beside the bridge. He was on his own and came up to meet me. This is why my second canal blip of the year, taken facing the sun, like the first also has a dog in it.
The blip was taken fifteen minutes after my first encounter with the dog, after I'd had a stroll along the canal, which was still partly frozen. The Extra was taken beyond the canal bridge with the setting sun behind me.
