The annual seed and potato blip

Yes, it's that time of year again. Thoughts turn to spring and summer and the allotment. Bought the seed potatoes last week and got around to put them out to chit. Growing Casablanca (earlies) and Harmony (main crop) again as they were so successful last year, I'm hoping they wil be as productive this year. We harvested our first spuds on 25th June and we're still eating the maincrop now.

Time also to get tomatoes sown in the propogator and perhaps some chillies and we'll be away on another year.

Spent some time in the afternoon researching canal boats on the Kennet and Avon Canal, we've a fancy to try crusing the canals in June. May have found a boat we like. But it's not a cheap thing to do.
