I love seeing colours in winter

It has been raining or drizzling all day and this afternoon as I wandered out to the garden to replenish the bird feeders it seemed to have stopped, at least for a few minutes. I took out some water to the cabin to give all the plants in there a a drink.  I have been over wintering quite a few this year, and I'm pleased with my purchase of a small radiator as it has worked very well at easily controlling the ambient temperature.

In the cabin I spotted these two pelargonium plants' vivid red and mauve flowers, and decided to bring them in to brighten the dining-room. It has also provided me with yet another emergency blip, so big thanks to them. It may yet happen again.
