Persnickety Model

This Great White Heron cannot be depended upon to be in the mood for modeling. Sometimes the moment my camera lifts is the moment she flies away. Other times she graces me with a wondrous variety of poses. She can be positively majestic with sunlit curves and windblown feathers, or she can be comical in her reckless  pursuit of minnows or when walking gingerly on mudflats. 

I enclose an extra that is rather less majestic. A touch of humor? Me and my shadow?
