Pop's is now Leah's

Seems like our favourite coffee house has changed hands. Upon asking one of the servers "What happened to Pop's and who is Leah?" I was told that Pop's had sold the business, the cook had brought it and had named it after her daughter. Coffee still tastes as good though and you can guess what made the two indentations on the froth.

A deteriorating sort of day, dry on the walk into town, raining hard on the way home. Bought a few things to complete the curtain hanging from yesterday which ultimately did not work; spotted a second hand bookcase for under the stairs in a charity shop and generally enjoyed our regular Saturday trip on a Thursday.

Spent the afternoon fiddling with the valance on those curtains. It's not hanging right so it will be another trip into town tomorrow after the gym to collect some different widgets to see if they will work any better.

Booked a narrowboat on the Kennet and Avon Canal in June. That will be a first, so looking forward to that. I've read many books involving narrowboating including Terry Darlington (Slow Dog to...) and of course the father of the canal system LTC Rolt?
