Beth

The reason for being 'home' was to celebrate Beth's retiral. How long have I known her? Well over 20 years since she came to the Garioch Centre as a mum, then worked in the coffee bar and was a detached youth worker, before I encouraged her to her PG qualification. So long ago. A number of friends/former colleagues were there, including L who I've known through thick and thin, and between us 5 mat leaves, for almost 40 years. Now that is scary.

Earlier A and I had had lunch at the Garden Centre. Great natter if not great food. It was a cold, dreich day so the afternoon was spent watching rugby (Wales woz robbed), x stitch and advising #1 son on business matters, between matches. He was streaming them 8 hours away.
