So bracing

The view on waking this morning was not encouraging. It was pouring with rain and showed no sign of stopping. We went to the market where only one stallholder had turned up. Fortunately it was the popular and very well stocked fruit and veg stall, so we were able to stock up.

We spent the rest of the morning at home, but after lunch we had to venture to Salobreña because the gas had run out (again). As usual, the sky over the coast was blue, albeit with scudding clouds. We went to the supermarket and the petrol station, and thence to the beach since it was now so sunny. We didn't stay all that long -- the wind was blasting off the sea -- but it was refreshing and much better than moping about in the rain. Here's one for my door series.

Later, dentist for S, filling done for 30 euros. And now a quiet evening at home. More excitement planned for later in the week.
