The accidental finding

By woodpeckers

Hear this, Robert Zimmerman...

...I wrote a song for you
About a strange young man called Dylan
With a voice like sand and glue

(David Bowie, Song for Bob Dylan, from the 1972 album, Hunky Dory)

OK, I am a Dylan fan, and a massive Bowie fan, but today I had things to do in Cheltenham, such as shopping for things I can't buy in Stroud, sand meeting my friend, so I just scurried past this gallery, pausing only to snap a Dylan-painting shot complete with reflections. It seemed a shame.

In fact, I had such a good day in Cheltenham, including choosing sweatshirts for my friend Dave (I nearly lost the will to live) and buying story-cassettes for the car and eating in Cafe Rouge, that Steve and I may return. Very soon.

We might even see the Bob Dylan paintings in a gallery in the Promenade. And it might not be pouring with rain!
