Frankentomato

I’ve been growing Brandywine Pink tomatoes for 20-odd years. Usually they are a regular shape and about 200g. Until this season I have raised my plants from seed saved the previous year, but brandywines don’t have many seeds. Last year there were no seeds in any of the fruit produced, which meant I had to buy fresh seed. This is one of two individuals that turned out double size and weight. I was not impressed. However, it was completely seedless and the pasta sauce I made with it was sensational.
