Life through the lens...

Misty Magic

Always look on the bright side of life!
So the song says, and so that is what we did.

Our visit to Tremenheere this morning saw the garden shrouded in mist, with no view of St Michael's Mount.
In fact we couldn't see very far at all.
It did add a certain mystical magic to the place though. Especially as we walked through the woodland valley full of tree ferns and every shade a green imaginable.
( Although Mr C would have preferred  blue sky and the view!) See Last Year
This is also a sculpture garden with work by James Turrell, and David Nash among others.
We were also fortunate to meet the present owner of the garden, Dr Neil Armstrong, who in 1997 acquired the core valley to which fields have been added.
We spent a very interesting half hour taking to him about the garden and also Yorkshire Gardens he had visited. One of his favourite being The Yorkshire Sculpture Park,
This is a garden which is growing and evolving every year, and is now regarded as one of the Great Gardens of Cornwall.
