Enough cable to hang a cat!

Having spent 10 minutes repairing the phone cable on Saturday, within 24 hours Kermit had chewed his way through it again. I'll repair it again, but fear that it will only be useful for short calls, and will try kaja333's "citrus peels/flowery essential oils" trick to dissuade him. If it lasts then, perversely, I might buy a replacement cable.
