Perfect Team Work In An Emergency.

Today I heard the helicopter arriving .It was quite awhile waiting at Theodor Heuss Platz .This is why :)
a) The emergency call went to Steglitz due to a person being taken ill at Theodor Heuss Platz .
b) By road an ambulance could never have been there in time even with sirens .
c) This helicopter arrived from Steglitz to Charlottenburg in just 7 minutes !
d)  A police vehicle had cleared the area for landing .Another was there to escort the Dr to the building .
e)The Dr stabilized the patient and  went with an ambulance  + police escort to a hospital .Eventually the Dr was brought back with the police for another call which had already come through .This was the 8th call of the day which was still young .
Approximately 90% of calls are to heart attacks or strokes.
Time is  vital and there is but one helicopter . What a difference they make. Pratt & Whitney have dependable engines ..We have dependable Emergency Services .
