Same but Different

Wednesday again, so I'm blipping my boy en route to daycare again. Today not only is he on his bike instead of running (which of course he has been for the last few weeks as well), but he's on his big bike. He got this for his birthday, as his little bike was getting too small for him (actually, he was getting too big for the bike...). However, it was just a bit on the big - and heavy - side, and he wasn't too keen on it, despite its major cool factor. Recently he agreed (in fact asked) to have the training wheels taken off the bigger bike, and he did really well with it. Today he made the jump to riding it, instead of his little bike, to daycare. Quite a big thing, I reckon, as it is fairly heavy, and there are a few prolonged uphill slopes on the way. He did brilliantly. 8)

I took this, and decided (again, same but different) against a B&W conversion, but did want to process it with some warmer tones than were in the image sooi (straight out of iphone) ;-)

And here he is (warmer and) larger.

Gotta go: mahoosive amounts of kid-wrangling presently required.
