The Singing Walk

I'm leading the Singing Walk in the Spring Walking Festival at the end of April. Today the four of us on the team went out to check the route.

For the first time, this walk is around Hexham and ends with singing in the Abbey, followed by tea.

It's just 4 miles, but there are some clarty bits down by the river.

We will sing on the bandstand in the Sele Park, shown here, before retiring to the Abbey. It was a lovely day and I had the delightful company of Maureen, Audrey and Jean. We four have to make sure that no one is run over, lost into the sales, or falls in the river!!

I popped in to see the other Marjorie because I was parked near to her house. We had a cuppa and a good natter.
