Marjorie's ramblings

Eryngium

Margret (next door) received a lovely bouquet for Mothering Sunday. When she went away last week, she gave us the few flowers that were still happy, mainly gyphsophila, lisianthus and eryngium. (We always called gyphsophila "Gypsy filly" at home in my childhood.)

Today I had to part with nearly all the flowers, but I decided to focus stack a close up image of this one blossom. I used 6 images. Photoshop refused to stack them automatically, so I did them by hand. I like the detail, even though there are signs of ageing!

It's rained all day and been cold, so we have stayed at home. I had a raised temperature last night at bedtime and felt grotty, but I'm much better again today. It's a mystery.
