This is the view from our garden for the week. Absolutely gorgeous and a day to match with sunshine and blue sky all day. The favourite people went out for a cycle ride and a run whilst Bailey and I sat in the sun.

After breakfast, the surfers headed off to Watergate Bay and Bailey the bestest friend and I walked around to meet them for a late lunch. Bailey needed a few lie-downs (and we needed a drink and a bit of cake part way round) but was encouraged with the thought of seeing his favourite.

Back in the van via a shop for footwear and ice cream. And then a read in the garden before we headed out for a walk in the estuary as the tide had gone out. Turns out we were a overly-confident in our attitude to wading across a channel, particularly when Bailey decided he didn't like it and had to be carried. And I lost my balance and ended up in the water. Much hilarity ensued until I realised that my camera was a casualty of the event. It's currently sat in a tub of rice but if it has not revived in the morning - and it's not looking good - we're off to Truro to find a camera shop. We're hoping for no more mishaps this week.
