Burleigh Woods

Len, Basil and I went to Burleigh Woods this afternoon to see the bluebells, for which the wood is noted.

I had hoped for sunshine, but it wasn't to be, although the sun is out now.

Bluebells always look so wonderful. It's hard to take photos of them. I've opted for a view that shows the leaves coming out on the trees as well and reduced clarity to give the shot a dreamy feel.

Since the bluebells are early this year, they haven't yet been trampled on. I expect that will happen within the next two weeks.

I STILL haven't packed my suitcase for tomorrow. I hope that I did help Claire master how to take photos in Mykonos using her Big Stopper.
