The greylag family

This little family moved into their new home at the castle moat yesterday. I've lived in the village for over thirty years and in that time have never seen greylag geese here. They're common but it's still lovely to see them and their seven goslings amongst the usual residents. 

I'm assuming that it's Mum with the coiffed topknot!
