Green Bowers and Purple Flowers

I've been seizing every opportunity to visit the purple allium flowers at the Arboretum. I seem to find them in just about every nook.

This is a view through the trellises in the fragrance garden. In the far left corner, there are two inviting wooden benches, and they are surrounded by allium.

Here's also a view from the other direction, in which you may more clearly view the trellises, which are lovely for framing things. By the way, the smells in the fragrance garden are heavenly!

A photo that includes purple flowers gives me full license to use a Deep Purple song. :-) So here is a favorite: Perfect Strangers. As a bonus, here's a live version.
