Muzzle.

Today F was grumbly in the morning, so A and I were up quite early. A's friend R and her wee boy Z came over at lunchtime and we went out for a picnic by the river. The sun was out, it was lovely and warm and the food A had prepared was great - but unfotunately the wasps were out in ridicuous numbers and we ended up giving up and heading back home to sit in the garden.

Z painted my face blue (R: "What are you turning Kirsty in to?"... Z: "An orange"... Well, duh) and in return R and I turned him into a green and orange monster. The wasps were much less prevelent when we had no food, and we spent a lovely afternoon in the sun. Later on, A's brother and his finacee came round with BBQ stuff and the boys arrived back from their 2-day biking trip, so we all hung out in the garden until the light dropped, eating burgers and watching the children play together.

This is A's other dog, Diesel; he's slightly older than Isla, and much more steady. He is extremely protective over Isla and baby F, and if you look as though you might be about to tell either of them off, he stands in front of you and raises a paw to your leg, to distract your attention away to him. In this picture, he is lying sparko after eating a dropped burger, completely content in the grass.

A's brother and his fiancee took me back to Aberdeen with them in the evening, which was lovely - the bus is not my favourite mode of transport in and out of Banchory! Home and straight to bed; my weekend was brilliant and totally flashed by.
