Back to it this week, and determined to get my report out the door! I spent a good few hours sorting out numbers and chatting on the phone with the chemist, then headed home earlyish to start tidying for a guest coming tomorrow night. He’s a work acquaintance of M’s from England who’s up for Offshore Europe and unable to find a hotel in Aberdeen. His company agreed to pay us for a room in our house for him; we aren’t the only ones to be renting out rooms this week, it seems like half of Aberdeen have Oil and Gas Industry workers sleeping in guest rooms!

After a bit of tidying while M was at the lifeboat, I made an easy dinner and we just chilled out on the sofa for the rest of the night. These wee apples are the ONLY fruit from the huge tree in our garden. I think there must be something wrong with it! This time next week we’ll be in Norway and I can’t wait! :o)
