Foxglove

Although the markings are pretty in this foxglove, the colour is a rather washed-out pinky-white, so it looks more dramatic in black and white. Once the flowers are mostly over I'll have to compost it before it seeds, to try to preserve the mostly white foxgloves that seed freely around the garden. I suppose the best plan would be to remove this one before it cross-pollinates everywhere, but it's lovely in spite of the colour, and it's probably too late anyway...
