The good weather continues

Such a wonderfully sunny day today. A little warm in the morning but a superb atmosphere later in the day, clear blue skies and crisp outlines. None of this milky white haze that you can get with heat. Down to a northish wind, I think.

We had appointments in town so decided to walk in early, calling in for breakfast before the first appointment and back for coffee before the second appointment which was a haircut for me.

While sitting waiting for Susan I was street and people watching, which is where today's blip is taken from. A good day for a Slush but the colours in the plastic containers and in the dispensers look a little suspect. He didn't sell KFC, that spoils the shot. Should have cropped it out.

Very pleasant walk through Mote Park marred by the knowledge that a group of travellers had "entered" the park last night and set up camp. Some 12 or so vehicles and caravans driven onto the open space in the middle of the park.

We spent the afternoon completing the second coat of the studio. Looks very resplendent now in its Pond Green paint. Awaiting the "Cornish Cream" paint to complete the windows and door frame ready for the internal fitting out. I'll post a shot when the windows are done!

Doreen came down and sat in the garden with us during the afternoon and stayed for tea although I'm not sure what she had was quite to her taste: spicy chick peas with garlic, chilli, ginger, mushrooms, peas and tomatoes cooked with roasted red peppers and lemon juice topped with halloumi
