Hosta time again

A blip of some of our hostas before the slugs have them for their breakfast, dinner and tea.

Such lovely shades of green, which I think is a very calming colour.
Just what I need after last night!
Needless to say we had a good time. ( What I can remember!)

What I do remember is tripping over a hedgehog, in the dark ,as I walked to the taxi.
The hedgehog was fine, but my big toe wasn't!  Unfortunately I had sandals on, and the prickles drew blood.
Still it was nice to see a live hedgehog, as I haven't seen one for years, and K and A were pleased to have it in their garden.
