This didn't work out as planned...

I thought I'd try 'dynamic monochrome' on my camera. I think I might have used it once before, years ago, and I'd forgotten what it was like. Quite what the camera decided to do with this image I'm not sure, but I sort of quite like it, although the extent of the deep blacks is a bit much. I didn't check the image at the time of taking it, but maybe that helped avoid over-hasty deletion. At least it's given me something to think about.
